RE: We've all had 'em.....
Did this website just start ? .. OMG .. do I have stories ! ... but ... is this only for people who have aspergers - or can the people who live with people who have aspergers
post - too ?? There are no stories, yet ? geeze ... We were at an event - a little "health" fair in our community, a few days ago - he said he would help me - set up, he even cancelled a meeting with a client, as he said he wanted to help me... BUT, he let me set up everything , myself, no help from him. I told him, I wanted to have some photos, of me, interacting with people at the fair, for my website - he instead, showed up after I was all set up - and he just wanted to walk around the room and then he took only two bad photos of me - and left ... when ever I asked him to help me - with anything, I would get an argument... it feels, it is like that, almost with everything ! This morning ... i found a crumpled up piece of paper towel - he left the skin of a kiwi - in a paper towel, on a chair in our computer room - - we have to be careful about bugs - we have a roach problem - he knows - but it seems - it just is not his job to take care of it .. I beg him all the time - over and over again - Please - rinse out stuff, (plastic containers of food) before you put them in the recycle bin - or the plastic food containers, will attract bugs ! - he leaves the containers on the counter for me to clean and throw in the recycle bin - oooooo... dirty - hates to get his hands dirty ... hard just to get him up in the am - has to have some thing that is a ritual in the morning, to do - sometimes that helps... some times he will wake up and say .. half asleep - I got to make you coffee... if he didn't think that he had to do that - he might not get up !!!sometimes I can get him up just by saying ...coffee ! No one understands - how difficult it is to get him - up in the am - I have been trying for over a month to get him to go do Qi Gong with friends in the early morning on the beach - so far - no go !

RE: We've all had 'em.....
What experiences do you mean? Do you mean bad ones, if so where do you mean? With family, at work etc? I am having a very bad experience with my employers at the moment. It has been going on for some time. It will bore you if I post it and its too long to go into.
But i also have good experiences at times.

Hi Robdemanc - interesting you should say that you are having a 'very bad experience with my employers'. Please do share that wish us if you would like to.

The reason I'm intrigued is because many people with Aspergers or Autism have mentioned this, so it seems like a common problem.

RE: We've all had 'em.....
Hi - I went off sick this winter with depression. And my boss appeared sympathetic at first which was good. But then he hassled me every day with text messages asking how I am feeling. to most people sending a message saying "How are you feeling today?" may be seen as supportive. But to me it was very confusing. Not only was I completely brain dead at the time but i couldn't even assess my feelings. The text messages made me worse. I became more suspiscious of him and started to get very uncomfortable about the thought of going back to work because of him. He is very creepy. He never really spoke to me much in work, so to have him suddenly contacting me every day was unnerving. I told a pshyciatrist about it all and that my boss has had a bad affect on me. He suggested i have aspergers. Anyway now my employers have dismissed me through lack of attendance. Can't say I blame them. But i think the text messages were very intrusive and also I had to go in for meetings with Human Recourses and each time I saw them I seemed to get worse. It feels like what started off as a head crash, was made worse because everyone wanted to know how I was. Bizarre situation. I am glad I have been dismissed. Even though its bad not to have a job I am glad because now I don't have to see my boss again.
