Smile Aspies better looking than most?
I read somewhere that people with Aspergers were often described as having Angelic faces and tending to be more attractive, at least facially, than the general population.
I was wondering regarding the results of these findings if any of you think that this appears to be empirically true for you in terms of yourself and those you know who have AS.
I would be very interested to hear everyone's opinion on this.

RE: Aspies better looking than most?
Right before my friend died at 29, he looked as old as I am, which is nearly 18. I look as old as I am.

Cool RE: Aspies better looking than most?
I was quite a good looking child but as an adult I'm kind of odd looking, mainly because I don't seem to be able to smile properly, at least in the oppinion of others. My smile is more of a grimace. I have destroyed all pictures of myself because of this. sad

RE: Aspies better looking than most?
Almost every professional I have seen has made the comment that I am 'good looking' either directly to me or to a member of my family, I must say I sometimes find that they think I have no problems because they find me good looking. This might not sound like a serious problem from the outside, but it's frustrating that no one understands that life is a constant war that I am trapped in.

RE: Aspies better looking than most?
@ Alice333: I think I understand. It's extremely frustrating to have the difficulties you face being dismissed out of hand by those who should know better simply because you're good looking or whatever else. I've been through similar with teachers.
