Smile The Asperger's Answer Book - The Top 300 Questions Parents Ask
This is a great place to start for parents of an Asperger child, it is also useful for Adult's with Asperger's or their partner. It covers virtually every topic imaginable and takes a positive approach toward the contributions that people with Asperger's syndrome make.

This is a well-written and informative book that is practical to use. Written more like a reference book, a guide book which is to be looked at and refered back to time and time again and is excellent in what it pertains to do. It explains every thing one needs to know about Asperger's Syndrome in a simple and easy to understand way.

In my opinion the most important chapter is chapter 5 - "Thinking Patterns" as this chapter explains how us Asperger's think, act and react to situations.

It is written by an American where they call Asperger's Syndrome a Disorder which I really dislike Asperger's being called as it makes it sound being an Asperger more like a disease. There is also a chapter on the regulations on what help an Asperger is entitled to at school in the USA. Please do not be put off by this as most of the information contained in the book is extremely useful to anyone with Asperger's Syndrome, their Neuro Typical partner in life or a parent of an Asperger child from where ever they may come from and live.

"In a time when parents are overwhelmed with confusing - and often conflicting - information, "The Asperger's Answer Book" provides them with clear and confident counsel."
