Aspergernauts.co.uk creator, Gareth Roberts meets Gordon Brown MP in Downing Street

As you may know, Gareth Roberts (thats me) won the Princess Diana Award in Summer 2005.

However, I found out more recently that I was the 10,000th Award Holder and I would be invited to an event. It was to my supprise that I was invited to Downing Street, to meet the Chancellor, Gordon Brown. Here, I would be presented with an Award.

I was very pleased to receive the Princess Diana Award - and was thrilled and honoured to get the invitation to Downing Street.

It was a pleasure to meet Gordon Brown, and he described me as an "Inspriring young man" just recently in the Daily Mail, where I was featured in a story about Young People. At the event, Gordon Brown said he was "proud of me". He also "enjoyed reading the website".

I really enjoyed the event, and meeting everyone that was there. It was a day to remember! We were invited to look around both Number 10 and 11. It was a great honour.

I am most pleased with the website and the awards it has received - and I feel I have been able to help others via this wesbite, forum and even by E-mail.

I have attached a picture of the event, which includes Gordon Brown, Myself (Gareth Roberts), Hazel Blears & Paul Goggins.

Thank you to all the visitors and Aspergernauts supports that have made Aspergernauts an "Award Winning Website".
