Help with noise.

Hi all,
My 8 year old has Asperger's and is about to start school and I was wondering if you have any tips that would help him deal with the noise. Are there any noise canceling headphones that don't look goofy or draw attention say, when he's in the lunchroom?

theres plenty of small noise cancelling headphones but they usually cut out the background noise ,and most probably the teacher . It may be wise to make sure the child can understand the weekly rotas and that staff are made aware of any specific behaviours like staring or not recongising his/her name when called.
