cannabis and ASD

before i knew i had aspergers i was a heavy cannabis smoker i used to smoke between 10 and 20 spliffs a day. i smoked it for ten years since i was 16. after about 7 years of smokin it (this was to superskunk range) i developed scicoses and stupidly i carried on smokin it i tried to end my life at one piont thinking i was mental. but after getting diagnosed with aspergers and bieng honest with my doctor about smokin it and the amount. he urged me to give up and told me the scicoses is commen in ppl with ASD who smoke cannibis, he started me on a drug called Abilify aripiprazole and within 4 weeks i began to feel much better so i really do stress to those parents with children with ASD to watch them carefully when they get to there teens for started cannabis. becouse i was lucky that i got the help i needed and i would most probly be dead, or in a hell of a lot of trouble by now. i know most ppl would reed this and go pfffffffft. but i hope it can help someone
