My mum is always reminding me of the positive attributes. It seems that while other kids don't always find me easy to understand and like me, she says I'm a big hit with lots of older people instead - due to these positive things. I am polite and I like to be kind to my neighbour who is rather old. If I made cakes at school I always take one to her. This is a positive attribute!

I have a good ability with computers. I don't often play games on them, I prefer to build website's and find out how computers and technology operate - if it be from a Computer to maybe how an ADSL router works. I'm interested in networking computers, and I'm studying Cisco Systems. I prefer to self study, and use my know-how to help others. I am always willing to sort out other people's computer problems for them too. Up to now, I have helped quite a lot of people. I have built several website's for people, and charities. My ability with computer's is a positive attribute, and as I said earlier - every asperger's person has Positive Attributes.

Enthusiasm, Well I certainly have this. When I start a project, I always finish it, although sometimes this can cause trouble when everybody else wants to go to sleep. Like now, as I am writing this - you can bet every penny it is 3am in the morning. :-) Maybe the staying up bit isn't good - but my enthusiasm is...

Lots of famous and successful people with A.S. have used their positive attributes to the best of their ability. The very fact that we can remain focused on a specific topic is a great asset and we can and often do become very knowledgeable. For example, when I do some work - I am so dedicated to this, I can sometimes forget to sleep or eat... the dedication and focused learning on that particular subjects means that you can become very interested and knowledgeable, and of course this must be the best attribute ever, as it could secure an excellent future!

Remember that you have a special interest that is a positive attribute! If you think there must be loads!
