As we have discussed thoughout this website, there are a lot of positive sides to Aspergers Syndrome and many successful people including some celebrities that have shown possible signs of having A.S.

Bill Gates founded Microsoft Corporation, the company behind the Windows Operating System. He is ranked consistently one of the world's wealthiest people and the wealthiest overall as of 2009.

Craig Nicholls, lead singer in the band 'The Vines'.

Albert Einstein provided the theory of relativity and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for the work he did with photoelectric effect.

Isaac Newton enunciated the principles of conservation of both momentum and angular momentum. In optics, he built the first practical reflecting telescope and developed a theory of colour based on the observation that a prism decomposes white light into the many colours which form the visible spectrum. He also formulated an empirical law of cooling and studied the speed of sound.

Benjamin Franklin was a major figure in the Enlightenment and the history of physics for his discoveries and theories regarding electricity. He also conceptualised a helicopter, a tank, concentrated solar power, a calculator, the double hull and outlined a rudimentary theory of plate tectonics - most of which was impossible to build at the time.

Vincent van Gogh produced several paintings which included self portraits, landscapes, portraits and sunflowers which are among the world's most revered, recognizable and expensive works of art. He is today regarded as one of history's greatest, most influential artists, and an important contributor to the foundations of modern art.

Beethoven was a crucial figure in the transitional period between the Classical and Romantic eras in Western classical music, and remains one of the most acclaimed and influential composers of all time.
